To My Fifth Graders:

Tyler- Your kindness is limitless and your heart is a treasure. Whenever anyone was upset this year, you were the first to reach out to them.  Whatever you do, please choose a profession where people can receive your nurturing.

Phillip- You have a quiet humor and gentleness that we have all loved this year.  You have always presented the “Little Engine that could” attitude and encouraged others to do their best.

Hailey- You have a matchless sense of style and grace. Whatever you do will have a creative side to it.

Starla-You are a spunky little one with a cute giggle.  You are also an example of showing good judgment and honesty in any situation. This is a trait that others will rely on. “Purple”

Shawna-You have grown so much this year in your confidence. Keep it up. You have a sweet and humble spirit that inspires the compassion of others.

Madison- I like how you are a mix of boldness and sincerity. Keep working on the recipe because it is a successful one. The little treats that you brought the students in our class brightened up their days. Keep it up.

Brady- You are a great historian. I know I was the teacher this year, but you taught me some much about the stuff in the margins/footnotes.  After all, isn’t that what life is really about. The appreciation for the little stuff that people often overlook is very astute

Alex- You are very much a mature gentleman with a quiet confidence. You stand up for what is honest and your path is a narrow one that isn’t always the popular choice, but the right choice. Many can be leader, but few have wisdom (like yours)

Kendall- Your laughter is infectious.  People can’t help but smile in your presence. There was never a dull moment when you were around. Keep bringing joy to those around. Sorry that I didn’t have the appreciation for yellow like you did. J

Noah- I think you are the most polite of the bunch.  Even when you argued your point, you did it with courteousness and a smile.  Only the wise can debate an issue without using force

Aubrey I will miss the stories you had for me each morning. You are a great storyteller and possibly a great author. 

Beverly- You have proven that hard work, determination and heart pays off. Continue this process and you will go far as I know you have already done.  

Bradley- You have a sweet and honest heart. Keep it with you always.  Remember that you can conquer any challenge.  Just take a deep breath before the first step

Ceci- Remember that you bring something unique to any situation. You are not afraid to show your individuality and it has inspired others to be themselves. Keep up your sequined movement/trend J

J.B.- Your quiet whispers were a gift to me this year. I loved watching you when someone would say something sarcastic because you were the first to give a give a little snicker. You have a great sense of humor and maturity. Always keep your hope

Sean-You are a hard worker. Whatever was asked of you this year, you did it with a smile. Keep this perceptive, both in school and on the field. You have the potential to influence others. Continue to be a positive one.

Emily-You are genuine in character and lead many by your actions. Continue to be that lamp that shines its eternal light to others.  A good leader is a faithful leader.

Chandler- You are a joy to be around and if ever I need to phone a friend for some fact that no one can remember, I will call you. I am amazed at your source of knowledge and also your politeness.

Grace- I have enjoyed your lighted-hearted spirit as well as your creativity, this year.  You will keep the world smiling.

Jeremy- If we could have had a class president, it would definitely be you.   You are a great negotiator and an awesome helper.  You have a serving heart. Continue to listen to it.

Ben-You are so very sincere in your actions. Whether it was school work, tests, or your friends, you attacked every situation with a 110% of heart and effort. Anyone that knows you, knows that you are someone that gets the job done right the first time.

Keith-Atop those shoulders of yours, sits a well-balanced, all-around good kid. Remember kindness is a gift to others

Munira- You may not have been the louder of our bunch, but your soft voice has been a value to us.  When someone calls you a friend, they will truly know the meaning

Swetha- You have great character and integrity. I love how you aren’t afraid to give your opinion, but you say it with such empathy.  Wise

Nick- You are the “go with the flow” kid, who takes each challenge with a positive attitude. Keep this attitude going and any situation you’re in, will be a positive one.  

Angela- You have not been a complainer. In fact, any task that was given to you this year, was met by your pursuit of excellence and grace to be a team player and excel
