Hello Breton Families & Students!
We just held our first Read Around! This is an exciting activity that allows each student to read their writing to the class and receive positive comments about the "green dots" in their writing.
Students listen with a critical ear and comment on the wonderful details in the writing. This positive feedback gives the writer the "fuel" they need to continue to write. Students report an overall happy feeling when reading their green dots. They tell me that it makes them want to write more!
