Students may bring Valentine goodies and cards on Tuesday for Valentine's Day. Please make sure if you send anything that you have enough for all 22 students! Please bring Spring related items to support our Classroom basket that will be auctioned off at the first annual MMS Spring Sting Arts and Craft Show March 17. Check out the file at the bottom of the page for more details. A great way to help your child study and improve in math is to have them rework problems that we covered in class. have them get out class work and redo a few to reitterate the skills!! Please send kleenex! Tis the season,We are out again! Make sure your student is studying math notes and science materials (booklet and review sheets) nightly. Pop quizzes are given every week :) Remember to study notes nightly! Welcome to Mrs. Carter's 4th grade class!
I am extremely excited about teaching and meeting my students this year. I have created a well-ordered environment for my students to enter into, and I have great expectations for their success. My students' time here will be well spent, and I will strive to make every experience a learning one.
I look forward to a terrific year ahead. With your help, we can make it happen! An essential part of 4th grade is developing good study habits. Students should be studying notes every night. At least one quiz will be given each week. "Study All Notes" is a permanent homework assignment on my board. Please encourage your student to study hard and give me their very best effort in all assignments! Also, encourage them to view my power points and skill sites to help them study and practice.
