- Your child is continuing to learn color words. Ask your child to use color words to describe objects in your home.
- Read a book with your child, and then share ideas about it. Ask, “What part did you like?” and also see if your child can give you a reason why.
Math:
- Have your child find objects in your home that are different sizes, shapes, colors. When they find the object make sure they say the name ("triangle"), size ("big"/"small"), and color ("blue"/"red"). See if they can name at least 3 things about the object.
- Review coins by looking through piggy banks and change purses. Take a group of pennies. Have your child sort piles of pennies into more/less/same.

- Make an address book. Write in friends & family member’s phone numbers, addresses, e-mail addresses, birthdays.
- If practicing letters, remember to use the letter prompts provided by the teacher. Also to help model various letter formations use a highlighter and then have your child trace the highlighted letters vs. making individual dots to trace.
