HOMEWORK FOR KINDERGARTEN

Please remember that homework should take no longer than about 15-20 minutes for your child.

CONTINUE TO READ ALOUD each night!

Handwriting will be  a standard once a week.

We will also have assigned readers for your child. Please return this reader for groups the next day. 

We have now introduced weekly sentence:Please have your child write a sentence and S-T-R-E-T-C-H the sounds out to wirte each word. Correct spelling is important in this assignment but please have your child sound out the letters as much as possible with this activity. This sentence is always due by Fri. We will share the sentence in class so have them practice reading this sentence aloud at home.

Sight words are important to practice atleast a few times a week as well.
