MRS. DAVENPORT & MRS. LIGHT

      It is hard to believe that we are headed toward the end of the school year. Springtime will involve learning about life cycles of oviparous animals like frogs, toads and even insects. One of our favorite things in the year is to watch our butterflies evolve from egg to butterfly. our classes then release them into our courtyard when they come out of the cocoon. It is a beautiful time of year and we will enjoy these pretty days with outdoor explorations and even a buddy nature walk with 4th graders.Our focus  the next 6 weeks will  be on our Kindergarten play, "Three of A Kind" which will take place on May 17th at 8:45, 10:00 and 7:00 p.m. in the evening.Each child will need a teddy bear (gently used) as a prop for the play. These will be donated after the performance to Gleaming for the World.Please do not send in a favorite teddy of your child.We recommend perhaps a small one from dollar tree to donate. Thank you for doing this ahead of time. We will be explaining to the children about our donation as a grade level. Please practice lines and it will be unforgettable performance.
