Welcome to my library media center webpage!
The goal of this website is to provide a helpful resource for parents, students and the community allowing easy access to our school's library and activities. There are many areas to the website that I know you will find of great value. Be sure and go on 'my links' to access the Oakland Park Public and Broward County library websites. Libraries are an absolute and wonderful place to visit. Libraries offer many exciting activities for children of all ages. And the best thing about them, they are free!
Reading Across Broward June 2, 2011
Over a third of our student population participated in this year's Reading Across Broward program. In order for students to win an award, they had to read a certain amount of books from the beginning of the school year through April 1, 2011. Two hundred and thirty-three of our students earned awards this year. Thank you to all the family members for coming to our 10th annual award ceremony and supporting your children. We are so proud of our students! Keep on reading this summer!
