Mrs. Mueller

I am a 1995 graduate of Hannibal High School in Hannibal, MO.  After high school, I attempted to get as far away from that small town as possible and went off to college at SEMO.  I graduated from SEMO in 1999 with a Bachelor's of Education in high school English.  The beginning years of my teaching career primarily were located in At-Risk/Alternative classroom settings which I believe helped to shape my classroom philosphy.  After a couple of district moves, I started here at Hillsboro High School in 2008 as a part-time teacher and was fortunate enough for that position to go full time the following year.  While I have been at Hillsboro, my classes have primarily been freshmen and sophomores, but in my past experiences I have taught all grades and a variety of electives.  In 2010, I obtained my Masters in Education.  Last but definitely not least, I have two beautiful little boys who run me ragged. 

After a year spent running around like a chicken with my head cut off, this year my schedule has drastically slowed down.  I will be teaching sophomores all day long.  Let's just hope I don't go crazy doing the same thing six times in a row.  I will be trying to update my website often to include not only a schedule of what we are doing in the classroom, but also any assignments that the students might have been given
