Homework Poem Challenge Homework Poem Challenge

                                                                                 August 2009
Dear Third Grade Students,
I have a challenge for you! If you would like to compose an encouraging poem about homework I will publish it here on our classroom website. You may email it to me or give it to me in our classroom. Consider writing about why we have homework, how homework should be done, what types of assignments we do for homework, etc. The poems can be rhyming, acrostic, haiku, heartfelt, or another form that I may have left off that you are familiar with. I can't wait to read all of your beautiful poems about homework!
                                                                                              Love,
                                                                                              Mrs. Randall

               By Mrs. Randall

Home is where your work should be done.
On time and neat of course!
Must always be your very best work.
Every assignment should be complete.
We learn by practicing.
Only thirty minutes or so...
Remember to write it in your planner.
Keep your T.E.A.M. Binder organized so you don't lose it.
