The book Janitors is definitely a book to read. I recommend it to Fantasy lovers and those who enjoy interesting twists to everyday Realistic Fiction. Janitors is about a boy named Spencer who doesn’t have any friends, but knows everybody. Deb, the meanest bully in the the school sees Spencer as prey. Pure Prey. When Deb draws all over Spencers face, Spencers goes to the bathroom to wash his face; and finds mysterious pink soap. Spencer just gets the job done. His eyes sting and soon he can see Toixites. Evil Creatures beyond imagination.
A Review...After washing of the ink of a marker with this mysterious pink soap, Spencer is Gifted with the ability to see toxites. But there is one problem. No one believes him. Spencer later discover that the Janitors can see toxites too. But how? In a few weeks,Spencer loses trust from just about everyone. He last hope is convincing Gullible Gates. Daisy is a wacky girl who even the bullies enjoy. WHen Spencer tells her, at first she believes him, until he stops standing up for his beliefs and gives up. Spencer is lost in loneliness and confusion. Then a spark. Some sort of Janitor association is going on. Spencers stays late at school and soon discovers his eyesight hadn’t been lying. A man explains to them that the head Janitor is a warlock and that the man needs help getting the bronze hammer and the bronze nail; so that the warlock cannot set up his domain in the school. He can do that by driving the bronze nail into the wall of a school where he wants his domain with the bronze hammer. Later, after Spencer and Daisy help the mysterious man, they soon find that he is actually on the wrong side. The Evil Side. Almost immediately they are pushed into a world of war; a world they never expected;a life they never expected. The Life of a Janitor. Not only that, but the kids in their school are in danger too. Learning will come to a halt, and their school will soon disappear. Using the secrets of the Janitors, Spencer and Daisy overcome the threats to their school; but of course, sacrifices must be made........
