Week of May 7, 2012 

Science: We will finish up our ecosystems unit this week. Science Olympics is coming on May 18. I will send details as I get them.

Social Studies: We started out soggy, but the morning rain made our Pioneer Experience even more authentic.  The children did a great job sewing, baking, planning, packing, and traveling!  Thanks to all of you who made this day possible. We will wrap up our Pioneer studies this week.

Dates to Remember: On Friday we will watch a video on puberty. A permission slip came home last week. Please send this back in letting us know if your child can watch this video.

May 21 — meet your 5^th grade teacher and yearbook signing

Schedule:

12:00-12:15---Return from lunch and get ready for our afternoon.

12:15-12:45---Outside time/ study hall

12:45-1:30---Science or Social Studies

1:35-2:20--- Specials

2:20-3:10---Science or Social Studies

3:10--- prepare to go home
