Welcome to 2nd Grade!! Happy New Year!!
It's hard to believe we are already in 2012! We are right back in the swing of things here in 2nd grade. We are starting our 3rd unit in ELA, all about creative ideas. We will be reading about some very interesting characters like Pearl and Wagner, Juno, Anansi, Rosa and Blanca, and George Washing Carver. Second graders will be using their own creativity to write about peace, happiness and snowmen! We'll be finishing up our math unit on mental math and be moving on to 2-digit addition.
