Next week our Star student is James! James has been working really hard on his reading and writing skills! I am very pleased with him and his progress!

Spelling:

We are going to be implementing a trial based spelling word program. Students will receive a list that they will practice throughout the week. We encourage you to help your child study these words at home. They will take a pretest on Monday and a final test on Friday. Half of the words they receive on Friday will be brand new words that follow the same pattern. This will tell us that your child has not just memorized the words but understands the pattern. We will keep you updated!
