We will use the History Alive!  The Ancient World as a text book resource throughout the year. 

The study of Ancient Civilizations is a huge topic.  We will focus on

• Hunters and Gatherers to Farmers to City Dwellers (Roll Through the Ages)
• Ancient Mesopotamia (Empires simulation)
• Ancient Greece
• Ancient Egypt

There are wonderful opportunities for students to immerse themselves  in the topics and getting actively engaged in learning.
