Welcome to 7th grade World History with Ms Kratofil!
Get ready for an exciting year! History is AWESOME! I love history! Hopefully, you will too! I look forward to providing a fun, positive, and creative environment, where you can expand your knowledge about world events.
This year we will be studying World History and Geography from 500 AD to 1500 AD. Our textbook is called "Medieval and Early Modern Times." We will explore a variety of cultures that existed during the Middle Ages. To investigate these cultures we will be using textbook readings, primary sources, PowerPoint presentations, video and audio resources, Internet exploration, skits and simulations--in both cooperative and individual activities. Social Studies skills such as geography, researching, writing and critical thinking will be stressed throughout the semester.
As you start your 7th grade year, plan for success! Come to class prepared to learn with the supplies you need, the assignments that are due, and a smile on your face!
