My classroom is a level system classroom. All students coming into my classroom begin on level three. They must possess a 96% of daily points for a four week period. If the student accomplishes this goal they will be moved up to level four and receive more privileges. The level four student must possess a 96% of daily points for a four week period, if they do so then the team will meet and decide if the student is ready and able to begin attending more mainstream classes. They will still receive the support needed from the special services department while they are in mainstream courses. My goal is to have everyone that comes through my classroom be phased into regular education. I will focus on teaching strategies that the students can utilize to complete assignments and control social issues.
