This week in writer's workshop students will continue the Mem Fox Author Study. Students will be able to model Mem Fox's writing by creating strong characters, and writing from the heart. If you visit the library with your child, please explore and read Mem Fox books together. Happy reading and writing!
There will be a spelling test on Friday, May 25th.
The class will be tested on all 10 spelling and sight words that they will work on throughout the week. We will have a class spelling bee on Thursday to practice for the test. Please make sure you review the words daily with your child.
In math students will begin chapter 15 which is all about shapes. Students will combine two dimensional geometric shapes to make new two dimensional geometric shapes.
