ESOL Program

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Program

The purpose of the ESOL Reading and Language Arts class is to produce dedicated ELLs (English Language Learners) who are able to:

• Communicate both orally and in written form
• Develop communicative and academic skills
• Become fluent readers
• Function successfully in an English speaking environment 

The goal of the ESOL Program is to foster academic skills necessary for meeting district and state educational standards.  We are committed in meeting each students' specific needs in language, academic and cultural integration. Students in the ESOL Program must meet the same rigorous curriculum standards that are expected of all Broward County students.
