1. Membership- Work mainly in Fall, oversee buildings and online membership drive
2. Recording Secretary- Would need to attend evening District meeting and type key points of meeting
3. Representative to go to GV meetings 4 per year in Brighton.

06/23/11--Free Bowling: On Thursday, June 23, 2011, from 10:45 am -1:00 pm, the Pittsford Alliance for Substance-Free Youth will sponsor an end of the year free bowling event for Barker Rd. and Calkins Rd. middle school students. This event will include two games of free bowling, shoes, pizza and a drink. You will need to provide the transportation.
07/09/11-07/10/11--American Cancer Society Relay For Life® The Pittsford Relay for Life: Relay is less than two months away, being held on July 9-10, 2011 at the Sutherland High School Track from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. There are many aspects that you can still be involved with to make this first Pittsford relay a great success. Benefiting the American Cancer Society, this inspiring overnight event unites the entire community in celebrating those who have had cancer, remembering loved ones lost, and providing an opportunity to fight back against the disease. There are twenty-four teams registered and there is still time to add more. If you are interested in starting a team, join us on May 23, 2011 at 6:30 pm at Sutherland High School in the LGI room for an informational meeting. http://www.pittsfordptsa.net/communityevents.cfm.
07/15/11--Pittsford Youth Services - Duck Drop Tickets now on sale. The 13th Annual PYS Duck Drop will be held on Friday, July 15th at 8:00 pm at the Port of Pittsford Park following the Pittsford Town Concert series featuring the band, Orient Express. Ticket prices are 1 for $5 or 3 for $10. All tickets are $5 on the day of the race so buy your tickets early and avoid the lines. New this year . . . in addition to the 1st prize of $500 there will be 2nd and 3rd prizes of $200 and $100. All ticket holders are also eligible for many prize drawings. Free Summer Bowling: Again this year, Bowl-a-Roll Lanes on Jefferson Rd. is offering free summer bowling as part of their "Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Bowling" program. Free cards are available in the main office and each card entitles students to one free game of bowling along with free shoe rental. Each additional game is only $1.00. Make sure to stop by the main office and pick up a card.
PARENTS OF MHS SENIORS: Please remind your seniors to complete the “senior survey” found on the NAVIANCE program as soon as possible. We need this information for mailing final transcripts and for awards night. Failure to do so could delay college admission. MHS Counseling Office 267-1660.

E-NEWS FOR SUTHERLAND HIGH SCHOOL
SHS PTSA needs your help!
Kim Breidenstein will be the chair of Sutherland PTSA next year.
The vice-chair will be Chetna Chandrakala. There are still 5 open positions on the PTSA board.
As an equal opportunity PTSA appeals to mothers and fathers to consider volunteering for these positions :
Recording secretary – take minutes at the meetings and distribute the minutes via email.
Treasurer – work with the rest of the board to determine the budget for the upcoming school year, deposit monies from fundraisers, keep track of expenses etc
ILT Representative – attend the monthly ILT (Instructional Leadership Team) meetings with Liz Konar and other staff members.
Fall Tea/Alumni
Courtyard – maintain the outside courtyard areas, ideal for those parents with a green thumb.
