Students at the Intermediate will visit the library once a week for thirty minutes with their class. In addition to a weekly scheduled class time, students are welcome to visit the library whenever needed.For each visit, students must have teacher permission and a classroom pass.
Teachers may also schedule additional class visits to the library for student research assignments.
Half of our thirty minute class is used for a short library lesson.The other half is used for student check out.
Students may borrow two books and one magazine at a time.Books are borrowed for two weeks.More than two books may be checked out if needed for a class assignment.Magazines may be borrowed for two days.
We encourage our students to be responsible for the items they borrow.We do charge for lost and damaged materials.
