Read aloud – Inch and Miles

 

Math Focus

Finished Unit 5, Big Numbers, Estimates, and Computation

Problem Solving Strategy: Beginning "Use or Look for a Pattern"

Practicing multiplication facts, as always

 

Social Studies Focus

Our Rhode Island Unit; "Roger Williams" paid us a visit!  We also learned about the earliest residents of this area, the Native Americans

 

Science Focus

Electricity Unit - looking at how a light bulb works; building a simple circuit and learning to troubleshoot problems; collecting weather data.
