Gardner-Webb University nominations are now open for the Junior Scholar Program.  Nominated 11th grade students will receive a merit scholarship based on their academic performance if they enroll at G-WU in the fall of 2013.  Additionally, students may be nominated for the Fellows Scholarship competition during their senior year if they meet the criteria.

Criteria:  Each nominee must be ranked in the top 20th percentile of their junior class,  demonstrate superior academic and leadership potential, be involved in extracurricular activities and committed to Christian values.  The nominee should have a PSAT, SAT, or ACT score, but this is not a requirement.

Deadline: April 20, 2012  See your guidance counselor if you wish to be nominated.

Junior class students:  Attached below, under "Related Files," you will find a planning checklist to assist in your post-secondary education planning.  Now is the time to start researching colleges, scholarships, and careers as part of your planning.  We recommend that you develop a list of colleges and scholarships that you want to apply for at the start of your senior year.  Also, you should take the SAT or ACT at least one time in your junior year.  We highly encourage you to see your guidance counselor for any assistance you may need.
