Discipline Policy

Behavior at school is monitored thru a color system. Students have a pocket in the classroom that holds their colors. They will begin each day on the color green. They will also have a warning stick. If a student has difficulty following instructions they will be asked to pull their warning stick. No color change will occur. However some actions might require an immediate color change. The colors and consequences are:

GREEN    - color change (no time out)

YELLOW - color change and 5 minutes in time out

BLUE      - color change and 10 minutes in time out

RED       - color change and 15 minutes in time out

Serious or repeated infractions might result in a discipline referral and parents may be called.
