WILLIAM CAREY UNIVERSITY is offering a variety of scholarships to qualifing students interested in attending William Carey University in the fall. More information in Senior Counseling

ZETA PHI BETA SORORITY, INC.- Attention Female Students- The Zeta Phi Beta Sorority of Rho Alpha Zeta Chapter is offering $1,000 scholarships to young ladies interested in furthering their education. Deadline: April 20, 2010. Applications and information in SEnior Counseling.

THE GREATER NASHVILLE ALLIANCE OF BLACK SCHOOL EDUCATORS- annouces scholarship opportunities in the amount of $1,000 to African American students pursuing a career in education. Application deadline: April 5, 2010. Applications in Senior Counseling.

TSU-Promising high school seniors, who plan to attend TSU Fall 2010-

The HBCU-UP Project and Faculty of TSU,  is currently recruiting promising high school seniors, who plan to attend TSU in the Fall following Spring 2010 graduation, and who have an interest in pursuing a college degree in a STEM (science, technology, engineering or mathematics) discipline, to participate in the Program and the STEM Rising Freshman Summer Institute, June 7 thru July 9, 2010.  Twenty-four students selected to participate will receive the following support:  (1) free room and board during the five-week summer academic enrichment program, (2) a modest stipend, (3) a peer mentor/tutor to work with them during the summer and throughout the freshman academic year; and (4) a financial award based on academic performance during the freshman academic year.

STUDENT INSIGHTS- The 2010 Student-View Scholarship Program is offering $8,000 worth of scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year college, community/junior college or career school. DEEP SOUTH REGION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM offers financial aid to a qualified Deep South Region high school senior majoring in any garden or environmental related subject and enrolled in an accredited college or university in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi or Tennessee. STUDIO ART CENTERS INTERNATIONAL- SACI is offering a number of scholarships, including the $15,000 per year Elizabeth A. Sackler Museum Educational Trust SACI Scholarship, which is awarded annually to a woman who would not otherwise have the oppportunity to attend SACI, and the SACI Consortium Scholarship, which is a full-tuition award offered twice a year to students selected from the 36 member institutions in the SACI Consortium.
