Coach Fowler came to Oakdale High School in the Fall of 2007 from Tulare Union High School where he was a very successful Track & Field and Cross Country Coach.  Coach Fowler was on the track and field team at Stanislaus State in the late 1980’s and then went on to be the throws coach at the College of the Sequoias.  In the early 1990’s he took over the track & field and cross country programs at Tulare Union High School (his Alma Mater).  During this time, Coach Fowler became involved with the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) track and field, a grass roots program for kids.
