Incentive Programs

The Fisher Library supports several Reading Incentive Programs throughout the year.

Students in grades 3 - 5 are encouraged to participate in the Bluebonnet Reading Program

Students in 2nd grade are encouraged to read the Caldecott books

Students in Kinder and 1st grade are encouraged to read the 2 X 2 books

In addition, the Passport to Genres is a yearlong reading incentive program in which students complete passports each nine weeks. 

Fisher students also have the opportunity to participate in several reading programs sponsored by a variety of organizations:

• Dallas Stars Stick With Reading Program
• Six Flags Read to Succeed Program
• FC Dallas Get a Kick Out of Reading Program.
