I can't wait to start my fourth year at Elliott elementary school, and once again I get to teach my favortie subject - MATH! I hope my students are "ready to learn" and to become exemplary problem solvers. This will be my seventh year teaching fifth grade and my fifth year teaching just math. Before Frisco ISD, I taught in Little Elm and Carrolton-Farmers Branch. Before I started teaching, I was a school social worker. The only thing I love more than being a teacher is being a Mom, and I have two boys ages 4 and 8. When not at school, you can usually find me at a practice or game cheering on my two guys.
Angela Montoya - Reading/Social Studies
I am so excited for my third year at Elliott! I am so grateful to be part of such a wonderful family. I am in my tenth year of teaching and my seventh year with Frisco ISD. Before Frisco ISD I taught in Pilot Point ISD and Denton ISD. I received my bachelor's degree from The University of North Texas. I am looking forward to sharing my love of reading with my students and to help them become lifelong readers.
My daughter Kayla will be in second grade this year at Elliott. In my spare time I love to read and hang out with my family.
Ashley Carlisle - Language Arts
I can't believe that my first batch of Elliott second graders are now fifth graders! I am so excited to see how they have grown and start the brand new year with them as they become the leaders of Elliott. I have taught second grade at Elliott for three years, and I can't wait to share my love of writing with Elliott's fifth grade class.
I am a native of Frisco and graduate of Frisco High School. I attended Oklahoma State University where I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education as well as the departmental award from the Honors College. I love to travel, and did my student teaching experience in Lakenheath, England, before returning home to teach. My family and I are very close, and love spending time together. When I'm not teaching or writing, I enjoy reading, watching movies, and going to baseball games with my boyfriend Rene'.

I absolutely love my job! I enjoy engaging students in higher level science activities and watching them grow as life long learners. I am very excited to be back at Elliott for a fourth year. Elliott is surrounded by a wonderful community, has a great staff, is full of energy, and much more! I am very proud to be part of the talented and caring team. I have a passion for science and share my enthusiasm with the students at Elliott Elementary.
