The purpose of homework is to reinforce topics covered in class. Homework should not exceed 20 minutes each night. The students will be given a homework assignment daily Monday - Thursday. Homework is expected to be completed and turned in daily. If a student has a missing or unfinished homework assignment, parents will be notified in the agenda. Students will also be expected to read nightly. Students will be given Guided Reading books that will be sent home nightly Monday - Thursday.

*Homework should take approximately 20 minutes per night.  In additions, students should read daily for 15-20 minutes to develop fluency, improve comprehension, and become exposed to new vocabulary.
