Welcome to Social Studies!
My name is Emily Glankler and I am loving my first year as a teacher at APA! I teach social studies to 6th grade, 8th grade, and all of the high school students. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I grew up in Austin and graduated in the top 6% of my class at Westlake High School. I then attended the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with degrees in U.S. History and International Studies. I am certified by A+ Texas Teachers to teach Social Studies to grades 6-12 and I will begin work at Texas State University this summer to earn an M.A. in History. I have traveled all around the world and I am so excited to share my love for other cultures and history to my students.
