Certification & Education

I have permanent NYS certification in nursery, kindergarten, and grades 1-6, as well as special education.  I earned my Bachelor of Science in elementary education, English concentration, from the College of Saint Rose and completed the Master’s degree program at SUNY Albany in the field of special education.  I have been with the Coxsackie-Athens Central School District since 1997 and am delighted to be joining the faculty at Edward J. Arthur Elementary this year.

My Hobbies and Interests

I love to explore bookstores.  I enjoy finding exciting new books to share with my class and I always find a few extra books for myself.  In the summer, I like to go four-wheeling in my jeep or riding my quad.  One of my favorite hobbies is making wheel-thrown pottery.
