I can't believe we are winding down the year! We have a number of exciting things coming up in our future.

This week we will be going to Memorial Stadium for the Education Day with the Hagerstown Suns. The students are asked to wear their gym uniforms with their class t-shirts. Any parent who did not purchase a ticket and would like to come can purchase a ticket at the gate.

Friday is our annual Mother's Day Tea. Please arrive at Fatima Hall by 1:30. Students are to dress in "church attire" for this special day.

In reading we will have the last two letters of the alphabet  to complete in our homework book. The letters are the Yy and the Q.

Math this week will be focusing on critical thinking skills. Using reasoning skills to complete word problems.

Our chick eggs have arrived and were placed in the incubator on Wednesday. The students will be learning about the life cycle of the chick and the development of the embryo. I hope to "candle" the eggs this week to determine if we have viable eggs.
