COUNSELOR: Mrs. Ramsey SCHOOL: Corbell Elementary MY PHONE: 469-633-3554 About The Counselor WELCOME! My name is Kristen Ramsey and I am the counselor at Corbell Elementary. I am so excited to be here with such a fantastic group of staff, parents, and students! This is going to be a very exciting year here at Corbell. We did not just build a school, we are building a family! I would like everyone to know that I am here to help in any way I can. My personal motto is "Kids First"! I believe that everything I do through the day reflects my motto. As a counselor I am here to help kids learn to love who they are, help them to have good character, and to listen to them when they need a shoulder to lean on. Prior to becoming a school counselor I was a kindergarten teacher. This should explain why you will usually find me hugging children up and down the halls!! I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education with a specialization in early childhood from The University of North Texas and my Master of Education in School Counseling Degree from Amberton University. I look forward to a great year!
