Physical Education

    My Name is Danny Coleman.  I am in my 3rd Year of Teaching here at Christie Elementary.  I am a graduate of Oklahoma State University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education & Safety.  I am a newly wed, and was married over the summer to my wife who i met here at Christie Elementary 2 years ago.  I enjoy spending time with my family, playing golf, water sking, and right now i am training for a Triathalone.  I look forward to another great year at Christie Elementary, and look forward to meeting you all.  If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email me at colemand@friscoisd.org

Coach Lane 

    Hello parents and students my name is Ruby Lane I have been with Christie for 6 years .I graduated from Ohio . I enjoy spending time with my husband and my boys . I ride in rodeos with my horses on the weekends. I really enjoy working with your kids if you have any questions just give us a call.

I want to take this chance to go over a few things that your child will need to bring with them to PE.  Children will need to wear appropriate Attire on the days they will have PE.  Appropriate Attire is as followed:

1. Proper Shoes – Tennis Shoes, athletic shoes, anything with a rubber sole.  Crocks, sandals, dress shoes, boots or  any shoe that  does not resemble a tennis shoe will not be allowed in the Gym.  This is for the safety of our students.

2. Clothing – Dress code for the gym is similar to the dress code for the whole school.  Shorts must go past your finger tips and not bellow the knee.  GIRLS may wear dresses as long as they have shorts on underneath.  Shirts or dresses that have straps must be three finger thick. Straps thinner may be worn as long as a shirt is worn underneath.  Shirts must cover the belly and back.  Pants must be pulled up, no sagging will be allowed.
