Homework reinforces skills taught in class, teaches students to work independently, and teaches responsibility.  Please expect homework to be sent home with your child Monday through Thursday evenings.  Feel free to talk to your child’s teacher if you have any concerns about homework.  Students will not be allowed to call home when they have forgotten their homework. 

Reading homework- Students will have a reading assignment to complete each Monday and Wednesday evening- due the next day. 

Math homework- Students will have a math assignment to complete each Tuesday and Thursday evening- due the next day.

Reading Log- Students need to read each night Monday-Thursday for a minimum of 15 minutes.  Please sign daily.

Spelling- Students need to study spelling words each night Monday-Thursday to prepare for the test on Fridays. 

Math Facts- Students need to study addition and subtraction facts until memorized.
