Back to School!
Welcome to First Grade!!!
We are so excited to start the 2010-2011 school year with you!!! Here are some tips to get ready for school.
Please bring in all supplies when you come for Meet the Teacher
Night on August 20th. Do not label crayons, pencils, markers, glue,
construction paper. These items are classroom community items.
Supply List
2 Crayola Crayons, 24 count
1 Crayola Markers, washable, classic thick
12 #2 Pencils
1 Fiskars for Kids Scissors, sharp tip
4 LARGE Elmer’s Glue Sticks
1 Elmer’s Glue Bottle, 4 oz.
1
1 Assorted Construction Paper
4 Wide Ruled Spiral Notebook, 70 sheets (single subject) –red, yellow, blue, green
5 Folders with Brads and Pockets – red, yellow, blue, green, orange
1 Large Box of Kleenex Tissue
Mark your calendars!!!
September 2nd is Curriculum night. This is
our parent information night. We will be discussing the first grade handbook, curriculum, rules and discipline, and any other first grade procedures. Please try and make Curriculum Night. October 11th is Parent/Teacher Conference day. This is a student holiday. Teachers will be conferencing with parents during the day and evening for 20 minute periods. Please make make plans to have 20 minutes that day to meet with your child's teacher. You will have an opportunity to sign up for a time on Curriculum night
