Cool Kids teaches students the “Cool Rules” that provide steps to think and do to make good choices in a variety of situations:

Stay Cool: handling feelings

Work it Out: brainstorming solutions to solve problems, resolve conflicts, and make good choices

Give Respect: talking and acting with respect

Get it Done: fulfilling responsibilities and achieving goals

Be Confident: thinking positive thoughts and being resilient

We want to equip you with tools for parenting and helping your children learn

how to be responsible, respectful, and resilient.  Affirm your child any time you see him or her applying a step to a Cool Rule.

Parents, teachers, and school staff help our students grow socially and emotionally and develop character by encouraging and affirming the use of the “Cool Rules.”
