Homework is assigned Monday thru Thursday and should be returned to school the following day. It is intended that homework be at least 50 minutes. This includes 20 minutes of reading. If your child is part of our strings music class, it is expected that he/she practices twice a week for at least 20 minutes.
Parents: "How Can You Help?"
We ask that parents make homework a top priority by setting a daily homework time in a quiet environment, providing necessary supplies, giving praise and support, and if necessary, helping your child with the homework process. However, parents should not, under any circumstances, do their homework for their child.
All homework assignments are intended to be a review of previously learned concepts.
If your child is having difficulty completing the homework fairly independently, please contact your child's teacher.
