Welcome to Nursery School! Letter of the Week: Pp Next Week: Qq Our Class This Week: I am so sorry for the delay; I was out sick the first ½ of the week. Students had Ms. Kingsley as a sub and I hear they had a wonderful time! We have had many students in the class out sick. Please remind students to wash hands often, use tissues and cough into their elbow. This month we start a unit “All About Me”. Students will explore what makes them special. We all have things in common and things that make us very different from each other. We will spend the first few weeks discussing ourselves, our friends and our family. Later in the month we will discuss feelings and emotions. We will celebrate Valentine’s Day next Tuesday and Thursday. Students are asked to bring in cards to share with friends. Please check backpacks to class lists and more information. Students may wear red or pink on this day but we ask please NO FOOD. Reminders: Valentine’s Parties M*T*W Class- Tuesday PM Class- Tuesday W*Th*F- Thursday Wednesdays- Library Day All library books are due back to school on Wednesday. I hope you are enjoying reading together. Your child will pick out a new book each week. Report Cards Please make sure all report cards are signed and returned to school as soon as possible. Thank you! Our Little Lions strive to get Healthy and Grow Strong: I am so proud of all the healthy choices our little lions have made during our health challenge. Our part of the school wide challenge as ended yet I hope that the habits formed during this challenge will stay with your children. Great job! * * * Parent Volunteers There will be many opportunities for parents to be involved in our classroom. All volunteers must fill out a CORI and complete Protecting God’s Children. Thank you in advance for your help and support. Extra Clothes Please send your child to school with an extra set of clothes in a Ziploc bag. These clothes will be stored in your child’s cubbie in case of an accident. Clothes will be returned to you in June. Labels Please print your child’s name on clothes, backpacks, water bottles, etc.
