Young adolescence is a distinct period of human growth and development situated between childhood and adolescence. Expectations of young adolescents, in society and in the home, are increasing at a rapid rate.
These years are truly a period of TRANSITION in an adolescent life. During this remarkable stage of the life cycle, young adolescents experience rapid and significant developmental change. This age group is undergoing greater physiological, psychological, and social changes than at any other period of their lives.
ACS encourages spiritual growth, fosters sound academic habits, and builds lifetime skills for learning. With a core of spiritual and supportive teachers and mentors, our staff provides a supportive and flexible school climate that prepares our students for a lifetime academic and emotional challenges.
