RAP- How has learning about the Holocaust affected you personally?

WOW-  It's research time! Not only should you be collecting the information required for the project, but you should be taking in all you can in order to learn as much about the topic as possible. This first website will give an overview of the Holocaust. In order to take the most essential information away from it, there are several items to be sure to look for.

1. What years did the Holocaust take place from and how many people were killed?
2. For what reason were these people killed?
3. Who was Adolf Hitler?
4. How did Hitler (and ultimately the Nazis) come into power?
5. What view did the Nazis have on people of other races and religions, specifically Jewish people?
6. What did the Nazis do to the Jews and why?
7. What was the final solution?
8. What put an end to Hitler and the Nazis?

Type the answers to these questions to be turned in with the final project. Be sure to elaborate on each of these questions as you will need the background for the project. Alright

PART TWO- WIO (Under the Rap)

Now that you have accumulated some knowledge on the events that occured during the Holocaust, there are several stories of survivors which will really help to give the Holocaust a little more meaning and relevence to you. For the following links, choose one story to read and take note of the who, what, where, when, why and how of these survivors stories.

Tell me for the WIO:
who
what
where
when
why
How
about the person you picked. Summarize what they went through.

Again, you only need to choose one:

Esther Bem | Bronia Beker | Sally Eisner | Renata Eisen | Rosalind Goldenberg | Anita Ekstein
