Hi everyone,

We are looking forward to our PreK Play next week - Wednesday 21st March!

The children have been busy getting ready.

We have many friends of the week and we are looking forward to more. Please check the calendar for your child's dates.

After April break we will be inviting parents to come in and meet with us again if you wish for parent - teacher conferences

I have updated the friend of the week pictures in the slideshows.

Hi there,

Thank you to everyone who came in for parent teacher conferences. It was great to meet with all of you.

In January we will begin our "Friend of the Week" curriculum. Each child gets a week when we celebrate him/her and we invite you in on the Friday of their week to help celebrate by sharing a poster you and your child have made about him/her. I will e-mail you a letter explaining the curriculum. Please check the calendar for your child's week. All we need from you is the poster and hopefully you will be able to visit the classroom on the Friday at the end of their week.

Hello,

Just want to remind parents to sign up for parent teacher conferences the week of Thanksgiving break. Remember, there is only one day of school for children that week and conferences are Monday evening and Tuesday all day.

We would like to invite everyone to an "open house" in the classroom, just to give you a taste of what we get up to after you drop children off at school! This will take place on November 30th - 8.15am-9.00am for the morning class and  12noon to 12.45pm for the afternoon class.

Hope you can make it but understand that some of you may not be able to due to work schedules etc. There will be more invites to join us in the classroom.

Hello everyone,

Sorry this has taken me so long to get set up.

We have been very busy here in Pre-K. Learning songs, making patterns, exploring new art materials, reading good books, making our own books, acting out stories, cooking, and generally having fun.

Next week we will open hollow blocks - a favorite center of many kids - where the children can build buildings they can go into.

Also, parent teacher conferences are coming up at the end of the month. There will be a sign up sheet for times to meet in the classroom.

The weather is getting colder but we will continue to play outside when the weather permits. Please make sure you send your child with warm clothes and shoes appropriate for the playground.

I will try and update this page frequently and I will be adding slideshows soon.
