About Me

   My husband, Brian, and I have two daughters, Katie and Amanda (Mandy),
who are Longhorns (Class of '08 and Class of '09), and two pugs, Wyatt and
Max, who spend their days doing pretty much whatever they want. I love
spending time with my family, college football season, the New England
Patriots, the beach, swimming, biking, and reading.
     I have taught in West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Texas. 
My experience includes first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth
grade. I have a B.S. in elementary education (K-8), and graduate hours in a
reading specialist program. I attended the University of Texas Heart of
Texas Summer Invitational Writing Institute in 2008, and am now a member of
the National Writing Project. I am thrilled to be part of the staff at the
best middle school in Round Rock!
