A Note from Ms. Blair

Week of 23rd – 27th April

I was very impressed with the student led conferences on Tuesday.  It was wonderful to see students spend valuable time communicating their learning with you.  They articulated their learning very well and gave supporting evidence.  As in other areas of schooling, conducting student led conferences and communicating effectively about learning is a skill that continues to develop.  Expect to see your child strengthen these skills over time and keep finding opportunities to discuss your child’s learning.  Please remember to return the parent reflection form.

I hope you received the email from Dr Luthra regarding the BYOD opportunity for students next year.  Remember, your child can also bring their device to school for the remaining part of this school year to help with next year’s transition.  Just let me know and I will help them with their tech needs.  If you have any questions about BYOD feel free to stop by and chat with me or contact Dr Luthra (luthras@asbindia.org).

Here is the link to show your BYOD intentions for next year:

·         Please complete this form if you would like your child to bring their own laptop to school next year.

Swimming starts in PE classes – First session in the pool on Tuesday.  Please help your child to label all their swim gear and keep it in a swim bag.

In class, students are finishing off their space video projects, polishing their mystery stories, creating new poems, exploring relationships between fractions, decimals and percents, starting new book clubs, and more.
