I am honored to be able to teach at CoronadoHigh School.It is a great place with wonderful students and staff.I am in my twelfth year of teaching and absolutely love what I do.It is an amazing experience to be able to work with teenagers in such a transformational time of their lives.
My family is from Modesto, California where I grew up with a great deal of Spanish in my community and in my school.Like my students, I began studying Spanish in high school.I then began traveling to Mexico doing service projects with my youth group and was fascinated by Latin American Culture.
Since then, I completed my B.A degree from AzusaPacificUniversity in Religion and Spanish, my Master of Arts from the University of Colorado, and my Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary.Yes – I love school!
I have a wonderful family, my wife Sonia and my daughter Sophie.We have lived in Colorado Springs for thirteen years and we love it.What a great place with so many opportunities.We try to spend as much time together as we can just enjoying each other and having fun as a family
In my free time, I help run Cougars Care at Coronado, an organization that helps Coronado students and family members in need.I also spend quite a bit of time cycling and having fun outdoors doing a variety of things.
