Spectator’s Code (for students and adults)

·         All students of Cardinal Ambozic MUST be in full uniform at all times in the gym.

·         No hats or bags or food in the gym

·         Remember that students play sport for fun.  They are not there to entertain spectators and they are not miniature professionals.

·         Demonstrate appropriate social behavior by not using foul language, harassing players, coaches or officials.

·         Applaud good performance and efforts from each team.  Congratulate all participants upon their performance regardless of the game’s outcome.

·         Never ridicule a player for making a mistake.  Positive comments are motivational.

·         Condemn the use of violence.

·         Show respect for your team’s opponents.

·         Respect the officials’ decisions.

·         Encourage players to play according to the rules and the officials’ decision.

·         If there is no supervisor there are no spectators.

·         If any of these rules are broken the student and or parent will be asked to leave
