Happy New Year! December was busy but fun. The students' main project of decorating a felt square with something that represents a holiday tradition was just wonderful. This family project was shared and enjoyed by the whole class. We got many compliments on them when they were displayed. We are very lucky to have a student teacher coming to work in our class from the end of January to May. Her name is Ashley Lyons, and she is a Foster resident. I can't believe that I had her in 4th grade! She is a lovely person and will be a great asset to the class. Let me take this opportunity to wish all a very happy and healthy 2010!
