Morning Routine

As we are getting ready to start the school year we want to remember the importance of a routine in our classroom. 

Every morning the students will come into the school and drop off their belongings outside the classroom door. They will then proceed to the first grade table in the cafeteria to be picked up by a teacher. 

Students arriving by bus are here and unpacked by 8:05 am.  Those who ride with parents should also be here by that time. The children are picked up from the cafeteria at 7:55am, where they will have time to unpack and prepare for the day.  It is important to have this time as we have morning prayer at 8:10.  All students should be unpacked and started on their morning work at this time. 

After morning prayer we will have a few minutes to finish up morning work and get started on our day with morning meeting and calendar. Those who don't finish their morning work on time will be doing it during our morning meeting time.

The mornings should flow smoothly for the children as it is a routine they will know what to do every day.
