Jazz Dance Syllabus, Expectations, Grading & Objectives

The jazz and tap classes are taught by professional artists from the community giving the students exposure to "real world" experiences in the studio.  The professional artist biography of Mrs. Kitty Carter follows:

Kitty Carter

For the past 36 years Kitty has taught, counselled, directed and mentored several thousand dancers that have graced her studio. Most of whom are still life time friends. She's helped guide their dreams of cheering, drill team, Broadway, TV Commercials, Tours, Videos, Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, Rockettes, Juilliard or becoming a choreographer to become a reality. She loves teaching and knows what it takes to become that front row stand out. "To make it happen" . Kitty's currently on staff at Booker T. Washinton High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Teaches Tap and Jazz. She is also the Technical Coach for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. She has just completed her second season on CMT, "The Making of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders".
