Method of Evaluating

Students will produce work for informal concerts and/or community or school performances.  Portfolio assessment is ongoing throughout the year via videotape critiques and analysis. Students will respond orally and in writing through peer and instructor critiques.  Students can expect written assignments once a week and skills tests/evaluations every 5 classes.

Grade:                        The grade will be based on studio performance as evaluated in the following areas:

                        SKILLS (Mastery)                                         40%
