Reading Buddies

This year we are teaming up with the third graders from Mrs. Adam's class and Mrs. Zimmel's class. Each preschooler is paired up with a "buddy" who will read to him/her every week. Mrs. Adam's class reads to our morning students at 10:30 am on Fridays and Mrs. Zimmel's class reads to our afternoon students at 2:30 pm on Wednesdays. Every week we share our newsletter with Mrs. Kreider, our school librarian, and when the third graders go in to choose books, she helps them find one appropriate for preschoolers that is relevant to our weekly theme.

Reading Buddies is a huge hit, and both the preschoolers and third graders look forward to it every week! Ask your child who his/her reading buddy is and what story he/she heard this week.
